Inspired by his then 2-year-old son and written as the soundtrack to the late days of summer, "Episodic Memory" paints a picture of warm, nostalgic memories. BVSMV described the debut as an "album washed in a sepia-toned haze of an old reel to reel film" and the "work of an artist putting their heart and soul into relaying the emotions and feelings of their life for the listener, succeeding 100%." Echosynthetic.net describes the listening experience as "being a part of memories you didn't know you were a part of" and "the most positively uplifting album I've heard all year".
